LONDON — Wimbledon reached its traditional "Manic Monday" on July 6, with all 16 men's and women's singles fourth-round matches scheduled across the show courts of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. Organisers confirmed a full day of play on Centre Court, No. 1 Court and the outside courts.

The middle Monday remains one of the busiest days of the Championships, when both singles draws reach the last 16 simultaneously. The All England Club abandoned its traditional middle-Sunday rest day in 2022, but the fourth-round pile-up on the following Monday has retained its "Manic Monday" billing among fans and broadcasters.

Demand for grounds passes and resale tickets remained strong after a warm opening week, following record early-round attendance figures reported by the club. The Ticket Resale scheme at the queue and returned show-court seats drew long lines outside Gate 3 from early morning.

The day's schedule set up the quarter-final line-up on both sides of the draw, with seeded players facing rising challengers on grass. The BBC and ESPN carried live coverage, while catering teams continued serving the tournament's signature strawberries and cream and Pimm's to spectators.

All England Club staff prepared for one of the fullest days of the fortnight, with play continuing until the 11 p.m. curfew on Centre Court if required.
