ORCHARD PARK — The Buffalo Bills defeated the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday to improve to 4-0, with quarterback Josh Allen throwing four touchdown passes at Highmark Stadium.

Allen dominated from the outset, spreading the ball across multiple receivers and adding a rushing score. The Bills defense pressured Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert repeatedly, forcing turnovers that Buffalo converted into points.

Head coach Sean McDermott's side entered the game unbeaten after victories earlier in September, including a Friday night win over the Detroit Lions. The Chargers, led by head coach Jim Harbaugh, arrived seeking to establish their own credentials in the AFC playoff picture.

The defeat left Los Angeles chasing an early rhythm on offense, with Herbert unable to match Allen's efficiency. Buffalo's fast start places it among the favorites to secure a high seed in the AFC bracket.

Allen has delivered multiple-touchdown performances in each of Buffalo's opening games, strengthening his early candidacy for individual honors and cementing the Bills' status as a Super Bowl contender.
