SAN FRANCISCO — Sephora offered bonus point multipliers to Beauty Insider members on Saturday, marking one of the most significant reward windows of the retailer's inaugural month-long loyalty event. The promotion rewards its tiered membership base across qualifying purchases in stores and online.
Launched in late July, Celebration Month represents the first time the LVMH-owned chain has dedicated an entire month to its Beauty Insider scheme. Members across the Rouge, VIB and Insider tiers can earn multiplied points on qualifying purchases, redeem points for products, and access limited perks and gifts.
Sephora structured the event around weekend surges and tier-specific offers to drive foot traffic during a traditionally slower retail period. Rouge members, the highest spending tier, received early access to bonus events and exclusive product samples, while all members were eligible for point-redemption discounts on selected items.
The promotion arrives as beauty retailers compete aggressively for customer loyalty in a crowded market that includes Ulta Beauty and Sephora concessions inside Kohl's stores. Industry analysis suggests loyalty engagement has become central to Sephora's strategy for retaining higher-spending shoppers amid pressure from online rivals.
Sephora said Celebration Month would continue through August with rotating rewards. The company encouraged members to check the Beauty Insider dashboard for personalised offers and positioned the event as a recurring fixture on its promotional calendar.
