Los Angeles prosecutors advanced their case against musician d4vd on Thursday following the introduction of graphic autopsy photographs in the killing of a 15-year-old girl whose remains were found in his vehicle. The teenager's dismembered body was discovered in a Tesla registered to David Anthony Burke after the vehicle was impounded and towed to a Hollywood facility.

Investigators with the Los Angeles Police Department identified the remains through forensic examination, and the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office ruled the death a homicide. Prosecutors presented the autopsy images as part of proceedings intended to establish the cause and manner of death.
