Louis Vuitton closed Paris Fashion Week on Thursday with Nicolas Ghesquière's spring-summer 2027 collection, staged at the Louvre with a front row anchored by brand ambassador Zendaya and other global stars. The show marked the final major presentation of the ready-to-wear season.

Zendaya, who had appeared at a Louis Vuitton event earlier in the week wearing a look from 'The Odyssey' press tour, remained among the most photographed attendees of the Paris calendar. Her presence reinforced the house's strategy of pairing Ghesquière's designs with A-list ambassadors from film and music.

Louis Vuitton, the flagship label of luxury group LVMH, traditionally takes the closing slot of the women's shows, often inside or near the Louvre. The brand uses the finale position to command maximum media attention as editors, buyers and photographers conclude a month spanning New York, London, Milan and Paris.

The collection carried added commercial weight for LVMH, whose fashion and leather goods division remains its largest revenue source. Industry analysts tracking the luxury sector have watched Paris Fashion Week closely for signs of demand recovery after a slowdown in the high-end goods market.

Fashion critics at Vogue and WWD framed the show as a statement of Ghesquière's continuing creative direction at the house, which he has led since 2013. The designer's futurist tailoring and sportswear references have defined the label's runway identity for over a decade.
