Mumbai, March 31 — Dhurandhar 2 continued its remarkable march at the global box office on Tuesday, crossing the Rs 850 crore mark in its eleventh day of release, according to early trade estimates compiled by industry trackers. The film, which had already surpassed Rs 800 crore by Sunday, capitalised on the school holiday window in several Indian states to sustain unusually high weekday footfall.

Distributor Yash Raj Films confirmed in a morning statement that Tuesday advance bookings across multiplexes in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru were running approximately 40 percent above the comparable second-Tuesday figures for the studio's previous blockbusters. Single-screen circuits in Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra also reported near-capacity shows through mid-morning slots, a rare phenomenon for a film in its second week.

Trade analyst Komal Nahta noted that Dhurandhar 2 is now mathematically positioned to enter the all-time top-ten highest-grossing Bollywood films list if it sustains current momentum through the first weekend of April. 'The film has legs that very few Hindi productions have shown in the post-pandemic era,' Nahta said in a post on his official social media channel. 'A Rs 1,000 crore finish domestically is no longer a stretch — it is the base-case scenario.'

Director Aditya Dhar, who helmed the original Dhurandhar as well as the Uri franchise, was spotted at Yash Raj Studios in Andheri on Tuesday morning for what sources described as preliminary discussions about ancillary distribution deals in Southeast Asian markets. Meanwhile, lead actor Ranveer Singh posted a brief video on Instagram thanking audiences, which accrued over three million views within two hours of upload.

The film's overseas numbers have also outpaced expectations, with strong collections in the UAE, the United Kingdom, and North America contributing roughly Rs 120 crore to the cumulative total. If those markets hold through the upcoming Eid weekend in early April, analysts believe the global cume could challenge the Rs 1,100 crore barrier — a figure only a handful of Bollywood productions have ever reached.
