'Drishyam: The Conclusion' opened across Indian cinemas to one of the strongest Hindi advance-booking runs of 2026, with distributors reporting near-full multiplex occupancy in Mumbai, Delhi and Pune on Monday. Trade trackers estimated an opening-day gross well above Rs 25 crore.

Directed by Abhishek Pathak and produced by Panorama Studios, the film is the third instalment in the Hindi Drishyam franchise that began in 2015. It follows Devgn's Vijay Salgaonkar as he protects his family from a renewed investigation, reprising a role that has become one of his most commercially reliable.

Box-office analyst Taran Adarsh and the tracking site Sacnilk both highlighted the film's unusually robust pre-sales, which crossed Rs 10 crore before release. The thriller arrived during the festive window, a period Indian studios traditionally target for maximum footfall.

The opening strengthens Devgn's standing as a dependable box-office draw. Both the original 'Drishyam' (2015) and its 2022 sequel recorded strong theatrical runs. Panorama Studios secured wide screen counts across North Indian circuits, where the series commands its largest audience.

Industry observers will watch whether word of mouth sustains the momentum through the first week, when festive holidays typically lift midweek collections for major Hindi releases.
